Only 8 days until we close on our new house and officially start making it our HOME. I have started renovating and decorating it in my mind, and have racked up quite the imaginary debt in decorating costs.. especially considering nothing has been bought, yet!
What is at the top of my excitement list is:.... Drumroll....
We will FINALLY have a playroom/gameroom for the boys! What is currently a wallpaper covered, in desperate need of horrible texture removed, room.. I am envisioning as a lovely shade of Behr's Pale Wheat, with perhaps a shade lighter vertical stripe. ... Behr's Dried Plantain, perhaps? These colors may, and probably will change once I get the swatches in the house and see how the lighting of the house works with them and how they work with the current/newly replaced carpet.
I have a plan for every room of the house except for the guest room, the front tv room, the master, and the half bath downstairs. I'm sure everything will evolve and change, but I'm excited to once again busy my paintbrushes... if only in my head for now.
