Oh face it, you know you're thinking about Christmas too.
Right?
Well, I was thinking about stockings this morning. We all have matching stockings, and since we'll be having a new member of the family this year, I'll need to add another stocking to the pile.
Only thing is, I doubt I'll be able to find a matching one. So, I got to thinking that I'll just make all of us new ones.

My husband would think I had officially lost my mind. We're already into unofficial territory, and I'm sure this would bump me right over the line. LOL. So quirky and fun though!

Yeah, maybe not so fitting for you or family but Oh this would be PERFECT for my mother in law!! She'd LOVE it too! :) I just may have to find some old rubber boots somewhere and give one a makeover for her Christmas Stocking and surprise her this year :))
ReplyDeleteI guess you could look at it as a practical alternative b/c you could wear the boots outside of the holiday season ~ provided you didn't mind wearing silver spray-painted footwear! Who knows, it could start a new fashion trend!
ReplyDeleteI like it...just not for my family? lol I have been thinking about stockings too because Brian, Rak, and I have matching monogramed stocking from Pottery Barn. They still have ours (just classic red and white) so I'm praying that they will still be in stock after Christmas when we find out the gender so I can get it monogramed too.
